Suzuki V-Strom Tour 2020: the season starts at the weekend [PHOTO]

First appointments on 5, 6 and 7 June

Il Suzuki V-Strom Tour 2020 starts this weekend. Six appointments are scheduled between 5 e 7nd June, considering the interest of several enthusiasts for the new one Suzuki V-Strom 1050XT and thanks to an enhanced organization. Three itinerant structures involved this weekend in Puglia, Emilia Romagna e Abruzzo. Subsequently, other stages are planned in different parts of the country.

The new Sport Enduro Tourer

The new one was the protagonist in the various test events V-Tree 1050 XT, distinguishable by the connotative design of the front area, by the aluminum handlebar with variable section, by the overall setup designed with a saddle that can be managed on two levels with different types of motorcyclists in mind, and then by the welcoming footrests with removable rubber covering. The technological part is interesting, starting from the three mappings connected to the Suzuki Drive Mode Selector and the Suzuki Intelligent Ride System package with the support of a Bosch inertial platform, in addition to the aforementioned traction control adjustable on three levels and deactivable, therefore the #PartiFacile, #FrenaInPIega solutions and #BrakeSafe. Also highlighted are LED headlights, engine protection tubes and aluminum crankcase guards, hand guards, luggage rack and central stand. It features an aluminum twin-spar frame, adjustable suspension and spoked rims with tubeless tires. The push is linked to a V-twin engine, Euro 5, which offers a power just over 107 horsepower.

First dates

The season starts on Friday 5nd June from the Due Effe Moto dealer in Cavallino, in the province of Lecce. While Saturday 6nd June three appointments are scheduled at New Center Motor Bikers in Massafra (TA), Ugolini Motociclo in Rimini and Motosprint Center in Vasto (CH). Finally Sunday 7nd June two other events at the Pastore Moto dealers in Andria (BT) and Mazzante Motor Shop in Pescara, taking up the indications.

How to participate and safety rules

To take part in the events you must register by connecting to the portal suzukitour.it to register, choosing the date and place where you want to take the test ride. On every occasion the site indicates the address of the starting point of each test, verifying the availability of a motorbike in the designated time slots: in the morning approximately from 11:00 to 13:00 and in the afternoon from 14:00 to 19:00 pm. Considering the influx limitations and to avoid crowds, it is not possible to transport any passengers during the tests. Furthermore, those taking part in the tests must necessarily wear a helmet and their own technical clothing.
It is also specified that the different stages "could be subject to variations or cancellations in the event of particularly adverse weather conditions or other needs."
Maximum safety guaranteed on every occasion, as highlighted, following the legal provisions in force and therefore the maintenance of safety distances, the use of protective devices by the staff and all participants and of an alcoholic disinfectant solution at the start of the tests. After the test rides the bikes will be cleaned and sanitized and the same procedure will also concern the desks, furnishings and materials used by the staff.
Only people in good health, without fever or any other symptoms, can participate. Each shift lasts about 45 minutes, always going back to the directions. Before the test, there will be a short technical presentation of around 10 minutes dedicated to the operation of the controls and electronic devices, then each lap is carried out on roads open to traffic and following an organisation's trailblazer, for an estimated duration of around 30 minutes. It is also avoided that the participants of a time slot can come into contact with those of the next or previous session, as underlined on this occasion.
