Suzuki V-Strom Tour 2020: we start again with five stages, three in Sicily and two in Tuscany

New appointments at the weekend Suzuki V-Strom Tour 2020 starring the Sports Enduro Tourer of the Japanese brand, after the August break. Stages scheduled until September 27th.

The protagonist model

La Suzuki V-Strom 1050XT it is the highlighted example. A motorcycle with a distinctive aesthetic that refers to the iconic ones DR-Big , DR-Z. The different technological solutions are functional, considering a Suzuki Intelligent Ride System and Suzuki Drive Mode Selector. Powered by a Euro 5 twin-cylinder engine and 107,4 horsepower, it features a double-spar aluminum frame, adjustable suspension, spoked rims with tubeless tyres.
The latest innovation is the one introduced Suzuki V-Strom 1050 XT PRO, a version with plenty of equipment to tackle even intense exploration challenges.

Information and security

To take part in the tests it is necessary to register by connecting to the portal www.suzukitour.it and register, then select the date and location. The precise address is indicated on the site, also verifying the availability of a vehicle in the scheduled time slots in the morning and afternoon. It is not possible to carry a passenger on the bike and you must use proprietary technical clothing, as indicated. Changes or cancellations are possible.
Each shift lasts approximately 45 minutes. The road test, lasting approximately half an hour, takes place on roads open to traffic with a Suzuki trailblazer. It is anticipated by a briefing of about ten minutes.
Speaking of safety, the Suzuki staff measures the temperature of the participants upon arrival, avoiding possible gatherings by remembering appropriate distancing as well as the use of the required protective devices. A hand disinfectant solution is available on site and the motorbikes are cleaned and sanitized after the various tests, just as the furnishings and equipment used are sanitized.

The new stages

Five points indicated at the weekend, three in Sicilia and two in Toscana. We start again on Friday 4 September at Gambino Moto in the headquarters in via Generale di Maria 5 in Palermo. While on Saturday 5 September the tests are scheduled at Saladino Moto in via Giovanni Gentile 41 in Castelvetrano, in the province of Trapani; then from Olivi motori in via Baccio da Montelupo 24 B in Florence. Finally on Sunday 6 September at Pleiadi Auto, in viale Regione Siciliana 2601 also in Palermo, while the other structure is present at Casini Sauro, in via Barontini on the corner of via San Colombano in Scandicci, in the province of Florence.
