The V-Strom Academy is present at Castello di Luzzano, in Rovescala, in the province of Pavia. The castle is located near the motorway, 70 km from Milan, 130 km from Genoa and about 170 km from Turin, Verona and Bologna, as reported.

Courses

An opportunity to test the character of the V-Strom specimens and go beyond the asphalt. A school aimed at enthusiasts who are starting to take an interest in off-roading, but also at more experienced motorcyclists who wish to hone their riding skills.
The courses last one day and are held by a staff of qualified instructors coordinated by Andrea Beconi, historic Suzuki standard bearer in Enduro and European Champion of the E2 class in 2009 with the RM-Z450E. The formula provides for a homogeneous subdivision of participants, based on level with differentiated exercises, balancing the number of participants and instructors. The activities carried out increase confidence and safety on dirt roads and treacherous terrain.

After the initial formalities, the characteristics of the motorbikes are explained during a briefing. We start from basic notions relating to driving techniques, moving forward with indications on the correct position in different situations. Along with the theory there is a practical part in two sections divided by a lunch break. Exercises are scheduled in the morning in a closed area adjacent to the Castle. Participants try safely over various difficulty steps. Then in the afternoon it is possible to put the knowledge into practice on an off-road route with the constant assistance of the Academy instructors.
An interesting novelty in 2021 is the introduction of new specimens of Suzuki V-Strom 650XT, alongside the Suzuki V-Strom 1050XT, meeting those looking for a lighter and more compact vehicle in their first off-road experience.
The Academy's V-Strom 650 XT and V-Strom 1050 XT models are fitted with Anlas Capra X knobby tyres.
