Suzuki V-Strom 650XT – The big day has finally arrived. Yesterday at 10 the gates ofEICMA 2014 were opened to all two-wheel enthusiasts who literally flocked to the stands of the various exhibitors to taste with their own eyes all the wonders of this seventy-second edition.

Among these there is also the Suzuki V-Strom 650 in XT 2015 configuration. We had already seen it a few months ago at the Intermot in Cologne, but within the walls of EICMA 2014 the atmosphere is always special. The Suzuki V-Strom 650 XT has new aesthetic details and small tweaks to make it even more tourist and adventurous, starting from the new "beak" which brings it into line with the new family feeling of the V-Strom 1000 and slightly refreshes the look of the model.

Il 90° V-twin engine has been confirmed. The Suzuki engine is capable of delivering approx 60 CV and a torque that is immediately ready at low revs, while as far as the chassis is concerned the frame is made of aluminum alloy, identical to that of the previous version as well as the swingarm, but springs and suspensions have been revised with a new 43 mm front unit with 5-position preload adjustment and 150 mm travel. Among the new features of the Suzuki V-Strom 650 there are also the new spoked rims, 19" at the front and 17" at the rear, suitable for a motorbike that defines itself as "adventurous".

Suzuki has redesigned the driving position creating a narrower saddle that allows greater mobility for the rider's legs. The V-Strom 650 in this XT version will be available at the end of the year in four colors: Mat Fibroin Gray, Pearl Bracing White, Metallic Triton Blue and Candy Daring Red and will have a price starting from 8.700 euro.
