Over 200 kilometers on the new one Suzuki V-Strom 1050XT for the pilot alex rins, as reported during the international test a Malaga (Spain).

The sensations

The standard bearer of Team Suzuki Ecstar he underlined the engine and chassis qualities of this model as an enthusiast, given that he uses a model when he goes out with friends, living in a mountain location. He also places emphasis on design, on the electronics that he considers “improved” and also on the dynamism expressed on the tortuous sections traveled around Malaga, as well as in the off-road sector.
An interesting stop in the Spanish town, before taking part in the tests that anticipate the 2020 MotoGP™ season.

The specialised farming model

The appearance refers, especially the front area, to the iconic DR-Big. The overview of technological solutions is varied. It indicates a “intelligent and automatic electronic control system” (Suzuki Intelligent Ride System) which brings together various devices designed to enhance safety and use. For example "FrenaInPiega" (Motion Track Brake System) which supports during the stopping phase of the vehicle, developed with the integration of a new Bosch IMU inertial platform. Or “FrenaSicuro” which incorporates Slope Dependent Control System and Load Dependent Control System, useful on downhill sections thanks to the action of electronics and ABS. So "PartiFacile", i.e. a Hill Hold Control System that is functional for uphill starts, as indicated.
Also highlighted are Cruise Control which can be activated between 50 and 160 km/h starting from fourth gear, electronically managed Ride by Wire, Traction Control updated on three levels of intervention and can also be deactivated, then a Suzuki Drive Mode Selector through which to manage three different programs of delivery. This motorcycle is powered by a V-twin engine that transmits 107,4 horsepower of maximum power, taking up the indications.
Considering the new V-Tree 1050 XT, we highlight the extensive equipment with LED directional indicators, hand guards, windshield that can be managed in 11 positions and 50 mm of travel, USB socket connected to the instrument panel display and a 12V in the compartment under the saddle, central stand, handlebar with variable section, aluminum tubes and engine guard. The session is manageable on two levels.
