Technical aspects

The two models feature the same aluminum frame strengthened in the rear area and the same sophisticated electronics which includes a new 5 inch color TFT LCD display and SIRS – Suzuki Intelligent Ride System in light of the data captured by one Bosch three-axis inertial platform.
The system is associated with the SIRS “Partifacile” (Low RPM Assist) and the Suzuki Easy Start System.
The electronic ride-by-wire accelerator connected to a slightly hardened control to aid control, as indicated, communicates with the system “Choose the shot” (Suzuki Drive Mode Selector – SDMS). There are three delivery curves with a change in the response of the engine to each request. The system can also be managed on three levels “Aprisereno” (Suzuki Traction Control System), while there are four on the V-Strom 1050DE which includes a G (Gravel) function but can also be deactivated. The features also include a cruise control system, characterized by a wider range of action via software intervention.
A system also appears on the models for the first time “Quick change” (Bi-directional Quick Shift System), changing gear without using the clutch. An aspect that helps reduce fatigue on long journeys.
Also interesting is the arrest system developed by the brand, according to the Sistema indications “Brakebend” – Motion Track Brake System allows the ABS to be activated even with the bike bent into a bend. The “Spuntofacile” – Hill Hold Control System, then, allows gradual starts uphill, preventing the motorbike from going backwards for a certain time even by releasing the brakes. Plus the system “FrenaSicuro” with the Slope Dependent Control System it offers more stable braking when going downhill and with the Load Dependent Control System it automatically distributes braking between the two axles based on the load.
The engine is also common to the two models. The double beam of the frame embraces thelatest evolution of the V-twin signed Suzuki. You reach one power that exceeds 107 horsepower, usable in different modes.
