La Suzuki V-Strom 1050 it is the world premiere motorcycle brought by the Japanese brand to EICMA 2019. Complete equipment, with numerous driving assistance systems, a power of 107 HP and low fuel consumption.

La Suzuki V-Strom 1050 is one of the important novelties of EICMA 2019, the most important Italian motorcycle fair, open today to the press and to the public from 7 to 10 November. The Hamamatsu company has continued the evolutionary process of the V-Storm lineage, presented for the first time in 2002, with a line inspired by the past with the typical Suzuki beak and the 107 horsepower engine.

The characteristics of the Suzuki V-Strom 1050

Going into more detail, the Suzuki V-Strom 1050 offers very complete and modern on-board equipment, starting from the driving assistance such as cruise control, hill start assistance and braking modulation based on the load and the risk of the rear wheel lifting when going downhill.

All these devices are managed by a control unit based on the data collected by the new one inertial platform Bosch, which detects the movements of the motorbike moment after moment in six directions along three axes. Thus guaranteeing comfortable driving on daily trips, as well as driving pleasure and safety on more adventurous journeys.

The Suzuki V-Strom 1050 and the engine

The Suzuki V-Strom 1050 brings the proven scheme to a new dimension engine 90 degree V-twin and aluminum twin-spar frame. The interventions on the mechanics increase the maximum power to 107,4 HP, without increasing consumption and in compliance with the limits of the Euro 5 regulation.

Through the Suzuki Drive Mode Selector the rider can choose three different maps which make the engine's response to the ride-by-wire accelerator quicker or softer. This model is also available in version weakened 35 kW for A2 license holders.
