Suzuki, V-Strom Tour 2020: registrations open for the initiative [PHOTO]

Registration has been opened for the V-Strom Tour 2020. Event during which it is possible to test the new one Suzuki V-Strom 1050XT, introduced at the last edition of EICMA. Let's go from the 13 March.

The new Tour

The tests are mainly organized over weekends, allowing participants to enjoy experiences among enthusiasts. There are two structures operating throughout the country in various locations, allowing interested parties to test the aforementioned V-Tree 1050 XT. About fifty events are expected, starting from Friday 13 March at Gambino Moto in Palermo, while the following day the appointment is scheduled at Euromoto Gorini in Brescia and at Saladino Moto in Castelvetrano (TP). Also in Sicily on Sunday 15th, given the stop at the Pleiadi dealership in Palermo and at the same time other tests at Duilio Moto in Magreta (MO), still taking the indications.
The trials last about 45 minutes, preceded by a brief technical presentation of the new Sport Enduro Tourer by Hamamtsu.

How to participate

To take part in the V-Strom Tour 2020 you must register by connecting to the site www.suzukitour.it and register online, opting for the date and location where to take the test. On the portal, based on your preference, you indicate the exact address and check the availability of the motorbike in the various time slots foreseen for the tests, starting approximately from 09:00 in the morning and then, after a lunch break, a restart from 14pm in the afternoon. As mentioned, each outing lasts approximately 00 minutes and the tests are carried out on roads open to traffic, following an organisation's trailblazer.
The stages of the V-Strom Tour "could be subject to variations or cancellations in the event of particularly adverse weather conditions or other needs", repeating what was highlighted in the press release.

The new model

The front design of the Suzuki V-Strom 1050XT refers to the iconic DR-Big, considering in particular the front part. Keeping this model in mind, always reviewing the information, there are hand guards, adjustable windshield, variable section handlebars, LED directional indicators, USB socket connected to the digital instrument display and another 12V in the compartment under the saddle, aluminum pipes and engine guard , central stand. The seat can be managed on two levels and the thruster twin cylinder a V delivers 107,4 horses, as indicated.
The colors are also connotative and the technological framework connected to it is interesting “intelligent and automatic electronic control system” (Suzuki Intelligent Ride System). Cite solutions such as “FrenaInFold” (Motion Track Brake System) which supports when stopping, developed with the integration of a new Bosch IMU inertial platform. But also “FrenaSicuro” which includes Slope Dependent Control System and Load Dependent Control System, functional on downhill sections, given the action of the electronics and ABS; Therefore “PartiFacile”, i.e. a Hill Hold Control System that is functional for uphill starts. Also mentioned are devices such as the electronically controlled Ride by Wire, Suzuki Drive Mode Selector with three different delivery programs, Cruise Control that can be activated between 50 and 160 km/h starting from fourth gear and Traction Control on three levels of intervention and which can be deactivated.
