Suzuki – It was perhaps an unexpected but certainly appreciated gift that Suzuki wanted to give Marco Lucchinelli, the rider who won the world championship in 1981 in the 500 class astride the Japanese motorcycle.

Following the "MotoGP Legend" recognition received at Mugello, Marco Lucchinelli became part of the "MotoGP Hall of Fame" and to celebrate this important milestone, Suzuki, during the last edition of EICMA, presented the champion with a version of the super sports car GSX-R1000 in the one-off “Lucchinelli replica” edition, a special that takes inspiration from the RG500 with which he won the 500cc world championship in 1981.

In addition to the graphics inspired by the RG500, the bike is equipped with an exhaust made specifically by SC PROJECT. The graphic project was born from the Suzuki Style Center in Italy by Chief Designer Yasuhiro Nikaido and was created by Rizzi Design.
