Suzuki: a poker of novelties in view of the Tokyo Motor Show

The queen will be the SV650X, a concept bike which is a neo-retro reworking of the popular SV650

Three other models on stage: the Swish scooter, the GSX-R125 sports mini and the GSX-RR

Suzuki – Strengthened by the slogan “EXCITEMENT for Everyone, in Everywhere”, Suzuki promises to be the absolute protagonist of the 45th edition of Tokyo Motor Show 2017, scheduled from October 27th to November 5th.

It will do so by introducing a poker of models suspended between past and future. The retro style has become a market trend and Suzuki gives a personal interpretation by presenting the SV650X. This concept bike represents a neo-retro reworking of the popular SV650. With its tubular frame and twin-cylinder engine, this model has always lent itself to customization and personalization. The Japanese company has thought of an evolution in a Rally Concept key with a windshield, additional spotlights and distinctive elements in the saddle that give a classic touch to a modern and reliable technical package.

The second world premiere of the Tokyo Motor Show will be Swish, a scooter with an elegant look and characterized by careful construction that wants to win the hearts and not only of a market segment accustomed to higher category vehicles. Ease of driving and handling in everyday urban travel will be appreciated by younger and older customers.

In Japan we will also see the GSX-R125, soon also on the Italian market, which will be presented alongside its big sister GSX-RRsuzuki-sv650x engaged in the MotoGP world championship, which draws inspiration from it with its compact and streamlined fairing as well as a distinctly racing livery. Powered by a lively four-valve twin-cam single-cylinder engine, the eighth-litre sports car is the gateway to the GSX-R world, which instead has the GSX-R1000R ABS as its flagship model, which in turn will be present at the Tokyo Motor Show together with the very fast Hayabusa, the Burgman 400 ABS, the GSX250R and the V-STROM 250.
