The performance area will be characterized by a bold combination of black and yellow, two colors that have always distinguished the cross models of the Hamamatsu company and which were also chosen for the launch version of the new Swift Sport, called BeeRacing. The GSX-R1000, like the DF350, will therefore pay homage to its four-wheeled cousin with a livery dedicated to her, which takes up its colors and enhances its sportiness. The graphic details will be inspired by the lines of the official GSX-RRs of Team Ecstar with which Andrea Iannone and Alex Rins race in MotoGP. Furthermore, a further sporty touch will be given by the full titanium slip-on exhaust, with carbon end cap, created specifically by SC PROJECT and by the adoption of the single seat. An exhilarating vehicle, which can only be previewed at the opening of the Show. These three models are capable of delivering a total of 692 HP, the sum of the 202 HP of the GSX-R, the 140 of the SWIFT SPORT and the 350 of the powerful 6 liter V4,4 outboard.

The 2018 Turin Motor Show will see the GSX-R1000 ideally embrace the new Swift Sport. Both embody the maximum expression of Suzuki sportiness in their respective fields and share the same winning philosophy, focused on performance, chassis balance and driving pleasure. Swift Sport combines an unladen mass of just 975 kg with the 140 hp and 230 Nm of the 1.4 BoosterJet engine. The result is exceptional weight/power and weight/torque ratios, which translate into consistently brilliant ideas and road behavior capable of entertaining the less experienced and exalting the more experienced drivers. Likewise, the GSX-R1000 guarantees exceptional performance on the track but can also be undemanding on the road, so much so that it adopts two devices designed specifically for its road use. The first is Low RPM Assist, which prevents the engine from dropping too much revs when the clutch is released when starting and regulates power delivery when driving at low speed. The second is the Suzuki Easy Start System, which starts the engine by requiring just a minimal press of the start button. When designing the GSX-R1000 the engineers always sought to develop a product that would allow every motorcyclist to make the most of their potential. The engine releases the exceptional power of 202 hp and has a maximum torque of 117,6 Nm. Both values ​​are at the top of the category. However, these results were obtained without sacrificing power delivery at low and medium rpm, thanks to the use of exclusive solutions, some of which have never been adopted on a production motorcycle. The distribution with variable valve timing of the SR-VVT, for example, derives from the official GSX-RR and allows you to combine incredible elasticity and an impetuous extension at the highs with a substantial shot along the entire delivery curve.

At any time the rider can then choose one of the three driving modes through the Suzuki Drive Mode Selector, to soften or make the Euro 4 four-cylinder's response to the ride-by-wire accelerator quicker or quicker.
