Suzuki SV650X wins the Best Bike Awards 2018

Suzuki SV650X receives another prestigious award. The Japanese cafe racer, in fact, received the award for Best Middleweight in the competition Best Bike Awards 2018 organized by Auto Trader.

The Best Bike Awards is an award of great importance in the United Kingdom as it is considered a sort of certificate of quality. The Auto Trader Bikes jury that awards the prize is made up of three well-known figures in Great Britain: Andrew Shim, television actor and great motorcycle enthusiast, Robert Morphet, founder of the motorbike section of Auto Trader way back in 1996, e Phil West, one of the most authoritative and respected sector journalists in the United Kingdom. What brought them together in declaring the Hamamatsu twin-cylinder the winner were on the one hand the well-known qualities in terms of reliability of the SV650 which is the basis for the SV650X, the perfect balance between power and agility, but also the cafe racer charm, without forget about a truly inviting price (in Italy the Suzuki SV650X is on sale from 6.990 euros ex-dealership). The Suzuki SV650X has established itself in the medium category, beating some very fierce competitors such as the KTM 790 Duke and the Ducati Monster 821.

Presented at the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show, the Suzuki SV650X won over critics and the public for its café racer look and that very fashionable retro taste. This SV650 has a new personality, thanks above all to the addition of a rounded fairing, which has small slits to the right and left of the round headlight. The vintage-looking saddle seems to have been made by a craftsman with the detail of the smooth passenger part and transverse stitching on the rider part embellishing it. The SV650X is powered by the tested Euro 4 twin-cylinder engine which stands out for its punch, compact dimensions and the presence of useful devices such as the Suzuki Easy Start System and Low RPM Assist, which facilitate starts and departures. SV650X is a transversal motorcycle, perfect for daily use as well as Sunday trips.
