Suzuki Save The Green 2022: over 80 quintals of waste collected in the municipality of Caselle Torinese

Suzuki Italy remember the Earth Day and highlights the collection of over 80 quintals of waste as part of the initiative Suzuki Save The Green. An activity carried out last year 9 April 2022 in the municipality of Caselle Torinese.
Suzuki and environmental sensitivity
The commitment to ecological issues continues with various initiatives that highlight respect for the environment and a more eco-compatible lifestyle. While for National Tree Day in November, with the Suzuki Green Friday and by turning the traditional Black Friday green, Suzuki Italia will donate a portion of the turnover on Friday 25 November to the purchase of plants, which will then be donated to a local administration. Last year the City of Turin benefited from the initiative and Japanese Sakura cherry trees were placed in the Piredda Garden square.
Suzuki Save The Green
Since 2010, with the commitment of Suzuki employees in this event, a concrete gesture has been made for environmental protection through the reclamation of an area in the province of Turin.
As mentioned, the volunteers met on Saturday 9 April in the municipality of Caselle Torinese to clean up the bank of the Stura river and the adjacent wooded area with the help of some local volunteers and the support of the Fire Brigade, the Civil Protection and of the Caselle Farmers Association. Over 150 rubbish bags were filled and some bulky waste removed. Everything was transported by the personnel appointed by the Municipality to the Caselle Torinese EcoCentre for division and disposal. In total over 80 quintals of materials, as mentioned.
