Suzuki Recursion, Young Machine presents a new rendering
The original version debuted in Tokyo in 2013
Suzuki Recursion – A Japanese motorcycle magazine has released what appears to be a rendering of the Suzuki Recursion.
The rendering of the twin-cylinder, which was presented during the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show, is on the cover of the new issue of the magazine 'Young Machine'. The motorbike which was presented at the Japanese event in November 2013 is equipped with a 588 cc in-line twin-cylinder engine with double overhead camshaft, powered by electronic injection and equipped with a turbocharger, a detail which also gives the model its name, translated literally “appeal”, given that it is not the first time that Suzuki has experimented with the turbo. The technical data sheet talks about 100 CV at 8.000 rpm and 100 Nm at 4.500 rpm. According to the specifications, the concept is capable, with its 174 kg of weight, of offering the 50% fuel savings compared to a 600 cc sports bike. Suzuki presented it as a fun bike on extra-urban routes and fuel-efficient in the city.
The rendering of the Suzuki Recursion features a number of similarities to the original concept, including one tip exhaust, the two-cylinder engine and the half fairing. Strangely and curiously, though, the front end looks very similar to the concept Stratosphere, also from Suzuki, an 1100cc six-cylinder released in 2005. The last time that 'Young Machine' had hosted a render on its cover was when the image of the Yamaha R25 several months before its official launch. It was a very accurate computer-generated image very similar to the one later released "in the flesh" by Yamaha.
