Presence at the event

On this occasion, various interesting models from a historical and sporting point of view can be admired. In the case of Suzuki, one stands out GSX-R1000R with livery dedicated to Franco Uncini, champion of the 1982 premier class and two historic ones Suzuki RG Gamma 500, driven by the driver from Recanati in the 1979 and 1980 seasons. An evocative mix of past and present.
Franco Uncini himself will be present on Saturday 12 May at 14 pm at the Suzuki stand to meet the fans and for a photo and autograph session. On Sunday 00 May, however, he will take part in the "Parade of Champions" riding an exemplary RG Gamma 14.

On this occasion, Suzuki is also exhibiting some new products in a dedicated area: the street fighter GSX-8S and sports enduro tourers V-strom 800DE e V-strom 1050DE.
The Suzuki GSX-8S is a naked bike built on a new basis and shared in part with the V-Strom 800DE. The measures are more welcoming than the category average, given a wheelbase of 1.465 mm, therefore an aluminum swingarm.

The engine is a parallel twin da 776 cc, with 270° crank mechanism and a patented Suzuki Cross Balancer system to attenuate vibrations. The power reaches the 83 horses and the couple 78 Nm.

Same driving heart as the Suzuki V Strom 800DE, which however differs due to a specific setup. The torque peak is the same 78 Nm, while the power is more marked and reaches 84,3 horses. The electronics are also dedicated, considering the Suzuki Traction Control System – “Aprisereno” with a additional function for off-road called G (Gravel).
The mechanics are similar to that of the Suzuki GSX-8S, but the fully adjustable Hitachi Astemo (Showa) long-stroke suspension and spoked wheels stand out. At the front there is a 21-inch one, at the back another 17-inch one.

Finally, the Suzuki V Strom 1050DE it is equipped with even more advanced and extensive equipment, in symbiosis with the cycling qualities of a model aimed at lovers of exploration.
The ASI MotoShow event begins on May 12th at the “Riccardo Paletti” racetrack in Varano de' Melegari with the presence of various historic two-wheeled examples. Moments on the track are planned with motorbikes divided into categories by age or by expressed power. Sunday 14st May the “Parade of Champions” is scheduled.
