Its exceptional performance satisfies even the most demanding pilots, who appreciate its total versatility.

On the model arriving in dealerships, the proverbial balance between chassis and mechanics is combined with a new design, even more fascinating and personal. The line reworks the stylistic features of two models from the past, the DR-Z and the DR-BIG. From the latter, in particular, comes the iconic beaked front, with an adjustable windshield that is positioned higher and ensures better protection from the air. The 1000 V-Strom 2017 is ready to grind out kilometers after kilometers and now also comes standard with hand guards and a tip under the engine.

The new model year takes an important step forward in terms of safety, being equipped with the Motion Track Brake System. This system communicates with the traction control and the ABS and allows the latter to work more effectively, also taking into account the lean angle of the motorbike and the movements recorded by the IMU inertial platform, as well as the speed of the two wheels . The result is an incisive and gradual braking action even when cornering, with the bike at an angle. The standard equipment also includes Low RPM Assist, which prevents the engine from dropping in speed when the clutch is released, making starting easier, and the Suzuki Easy Start System, with which a light pressure on the start button is sufficient to start the vehicle. motor.

Alongside the standard version, this year Suzuki offers the V-Strom 1000 XT, immediately recognizable by its spoked aluminum rims and also equipped with a variable section handlebar, light and capable of giving a more professional look to the command bridge. There are three colors available for both bikes: Pearl Glacier White, Glass Sparkle Black and Champion Yellow. In the case of the XT, the yellow livery is combined with gold wheels, which give a further distinctive touch.

The other new entry in the list is the 2017 model year of the Suzuki GSX-S1000, in the naked variant and in the faired F version. Both of which benefit from important updates that enhance its sporty temperament. The DNA is the same as the legendary GSX-R1000 produced between 2005 and 2008, a true milestone among super sports cars, from which the engine also derives. The in-line four-cylinder, modified specifically to strengthen the delivery at low and medium speeds, now features windows between the cylinders, in the upper part of the crankcase. This solution allows you to reduce power losses due to pumping and increase the maximum power from 107 kW (145,5 hp) to 110 kW (149,6 hp). The result is an incredibly prompt and lively response to every opening of the accelerator, which transforms into an even more impetuous acceleration, accompanied by an exhilarating sound from the exhaust. The increase in performance is associated with an improvement in efficiency, so much so that the GSX-S1000 2017 falls within the strict limits of the Euro 4 regulation.

For greater effectiveness in sporty riding, the motorbike is also equipped with a new slipper clutch. With its discreet and targeted intervention it makes climbing behavior more homogeneous, limits the reactions of the rear wheel and favors smooth and clean corner entry. The new GSX-S1000 convey an idea of ​​greater manufacturing care and also have a more aggressive appearance, with the footrests, foot controls and brake and clutch handlebar levers black rather than grey. The color range is also updated with the entry into the catalog of the Blue/black livery, characterized by a bold combination of black combined with an energetic shade of blue.
