The motorcycle

It features a lightweight double-spar frame and aluminum swingarm, developed by alternating extruded components and others developed by casting. There is also a seat support frame with a low weight of 700 grams. The weight distribution is then balanced 50:50 between front and rear.
Also reported was an optimization of the calibration of the 43 mm KYB upside-down fork and the KYB rear shock absorber, based on stability. The braking system includes Brembo Stylema® four-piston front calipers with 320 mm discs, with a Combined Brake System and the model is equipped with Battlax Hypersport S22 tires defined in collaboration with Bridgestone, according to the indications.

The instrumentation consists of a new display TFT LCD between two broads analog indicators of the tachometer and speedometer and various warning lights. The screen shows the current settings of the SDMS-α system or the Active Data display including longitudinal acceleration, lean angle, degree of throttle opening and pressure applied to the front and rear brakes.
The electronic overview is varied with one six-axis inertial platform, Then the Suzuki Drive Mode Selector Alpha (SDMS-α) which allows a choice between three set driving modes and another three customizable ones, with automatic variation of the operating logic of five listed systems: Traction Control (Motion Track Traction Control System – 10 levels + off); “Manage power” function (Power Mode Selector – 3 levels); Bidirectional Quick Shift System (Bidirectional Quick Shift System – 2 levels + off); “Giùlaruota” anti-wheelie system (Anti Lift Control System – 10 levels + off); “Engine Brake Control System” (3 levels + off). Furthermore, a speed limiter is indicated, the “Fissaillimite” (Active Speed ​​Limiter) system allows you to set a speed limit avoiding the risk of going beyond what is established. A solution also used in MotoGP during the return to the pits. As they are reported: a Cruise Control System and other solutions such as “Discesanostoppie” (Slope Dependent Control System), “Frenainplica” (Motion Track Brake System), “Partiarazzo” (Launch Control System – 3 levels), “Segnalainchiodata” (Emergency Stop Signal) and “Spuntofacile” (Hill Hold Control System).

Finally, the engine, a powerful 1.340 cc liquid-cooled inline four-cylinder, Euro 5 considering an exhaust system equipped with a new compensation duct between the manifolds, also contributing to the thrust expressed at low and medium speeds. Maximum power is 190 horsepower (140 kW) at 9.700 rpm, torque of 150 Nm at 7.000 rpm. As indicated, the maximum speed is self-limited to 299 km/h.

Proposal

In the Italian market the motorcycle is equipped as standard with the single-seat cover and carbon look mirror covers. The expected shades are Black/Gold which recalls the livery of the first Hayabusa, therefore a livery Silver/Red.
The new generation will arrive in March and can be ordered from dealers or on Smart Buy at the list price of 19.390 euros, according to the information.
