Suzuki GSX-S950: the new street-fighter also in the 35 kW version [PHOTO]

Suzuki GSX-S950 it is a recognizable sports naked with a distinctive aesthetic and equipped with technological solutions. A motorbike also offered in a version for 35 kW. The first examples of the model have arrived in Suzuki dealerships.

A new street-fighter

There are two colors that can be combined with the specimen: the Miami blue which represents the launch and recalls the sportiness of the brand; The Black Dubai with shiny and matte elements. In any case, you can see bold details with a textured pattern finish referred to as "forged carbon look".
The model can also be customized by opting between 29 original accessories, elements that concern aesthetics such as the assortment of stickers or carbon details, but also others focused on protection or versatility of use, considering sliders and tank bags .
The new Suzuki GSX-S950 it is characterized by a compact front with an optical group made up of overlapping LEDs, a central area where the perspective seems projected forward and a contained and streamlined tail. The tense features can also be found when looking at the tank from 19 liters, just as the slim sides stand out which facilitate the motorcyclist. The riding position is also favored by a large handlebar with ends angled towards the rider and placed at an optimized distance from the seat surface.

Technology

The chassis of the GSX-S950, derived from that of the GSX-R1000, includes a double-spar aluminum frame, the same material used for the swingarm which operates through a linkage on a shock absorber with adjustable spring preload and hydraulic brake extension. At the front there is a KYB upside down fork 43 millimeters. The braking system, with ABS, includes a pair of front floating discs 310 mm which are associated with monobloc four-piston radial-mount calipers made by Tokico.

Among the different technological systems we highlight: a ride-by-wire electronic accelerator, the Suzuki Easy Start System and the “Partisereno” – Low RPM Assist system, which facilitate the start-up phases and departures, the “Aprisereno” system – Suzuki Traction Control System (STCS) adjustable on three intervention levels and can also be deactivated.
The example is also equipped with Dunlop Roadsport 2 radial tires fitted as original equipment and designed for the model.
The motorcycle is equipped with a thruster Euro 5 of 999 cm³ in two power levels: 70 o 35 kW.
The maximum expressed power reaches i 95 horses (70 kW) available at 7.800 rpm and the torque peak is 92 Nm at 6.500 rpm. While the weakened model, aimed at A2 license holders, has a power of 47,5 horses (35 kW) at 6.100 rpm e 75 Nm of torque at 3.250 rpm. This is the detunable motorbike with the largest cubic capacity in the price list, as indicated.
