Suzuki GSX-S1000GT: the Premiere Show from October 18th to get to know the model [PHOTO]

The new Suzuki GSX-S1000GT is the protagonist of a traveling Premiere Show that is starting from Monday 18 October, to learn about and test the characteristics of the new motorbike at official Suzuki dealerships.

The motorcycle

An example Gran Turismo designed for traveling and characterized by fluid and aerodynamic shapes, which recall the work done with the new GSX-S1000 and which take inspiration from fighter jets. An appearance defined by sculpted superstructures and which includes optical assemblies LED . The shape of the fairing, the fairing and the windshield are characteristic, therefore the presence of 36 liter side bags that can be opened and removed using the ignition key is also highlighted. They can accommodate a full-face helmet and are designed together with the profile of the model.
The frame and swingarm derived from the GSX-R are developed in aluminium, the fork and monoshock are adjustable and the suspension calibration is optimized according to use and considering the characteristics of the new Dunlop Sportmax Roadsport 2 radial tyres, with a specific carcass for the GSX-S1000GT.

Among the aspects, we also highlight a 23 mm wide handlebar with the angled ends closer to the rider's torso, a 19 liter tank with a slim area close to the seat, footrests equipped with a practical rubber covering and a large portion saddle and aluminum handles for the passenger.
The model is equipped with an instrument panel 6,5 inch color TFT LCD which can be connected to smartphones and via the app SUZUKI mySPIN allows access to various functions. Technological support is linked to the SIRS, the Suzuki Intelligent Ride System and the various solutions reported.
The engine is approved Euro 5 and the power reaches a peak of 152 horses (112 kW) at 11.000 rpm, while the peak torque is 106 Nm at 9.250 rpm. Furthermore, the slipper clutch is now assisted with the introduction of the Suzuki Clutch Assist System (SCAS), which attenuates the effort.

Model proposal and price

The first deliveries of the new Suzuki GSX-S1000GT are scheduled for the month of December and three colors are associated with the bike: Black Dubai, Blue Miami and Blue Las Vegas. Large catalog of original accessories to personalize the specimen.
The reported price is 15.890 euros including VAT, a figure that also includes the side bags with matching inserts and four years of official warranty.

A long road show 37 appointments from North to South. At each appointment, qualified personnel will describe the technical characteristics and answer questions. The new Suzuki GSX-S1000GT will be available for a test ride.
The calendar with the list of dealers involved in the stages can be consulted on the portal dedicated to Premiere Show appointments. Interested parties can book a visit and a road test by contacting the participating point, also via the Smart Meet platform, indicating a time.
