Suzuki GSX-S1000 and GSX-S1000F – Suzuki has recalled some of its GSX-S1000 and GSX-S1000F due to some defects found on the radiator hose. The recall currently involves 174 motorcycles sold in the UK, which will be repaired free of charge.

A press release just published by Suzuki states that “The recall affects 174 motorcycles registered in the UK on which a radiator hose problem was found. " The GSX-S1000 and GSX-S1000F are the naked and faired version of the same model and both use a 1000 GSX-R2005 engine. However, the press release issued by the Japanese brand does not specify the possible problems resulting from the problem with the radiator hose. “Despite the issues reported in the UK, safety and customer satisfaction is our top priority and Suzuki has decided to initiate a recall to retrofit these defective models with a new component to avoid potential issues in the future.”Reads the note.

Customers will receive a letter from Suzuki as soon as the new part arrives and are advised to contact their local authorized Suzuki dealer, who will carry out theAssembly is completely free. "The job will be completed in less than an hour.” concludes the statement issued by Suzuki.
