To get to know the new one up close range of Suzuki GSX-S road models one was organized GSX-S Tour. A traveling event that allows interested parties to test the models on the road GSX-S950, GSX-S1000 e GSX-S1000GT.
They are programmed twelve stages, carried out on weekends and in a period ranging from the beginning of April to mid-September. The tests are sometimes held at participating Suzuki dealerships, alternatively the Suzuki staff travels to some well-known locations frequented by motorcyclists, but in other circumstances the test rides enrich the events in which the brand takes part.

The models

The protagonist motorbikes are three Suzuki models which are based on the same technical base, but characterized by a different nature.
Suzuki GSX-S950 it is the entry-level motorcycle in this grouping of models with four-cylinder units. For testing it is possible to use the 95 horsepower (70 kW) version, but there is also a detuned 35 kW variant, the motorbike with the largest cubic capacity aimed at A2 license holders.
La Suzuki GSX-S1000 it offers a sportiness reminiscent of the GSX-R with technical aspects derived from competitions, linked in this case to a street-fighter concept. A Suzuki Intelligent Ride System stands out, a system that integrates a series of functional devices and the expressed power reaches 152 horsepower.
Finally, the Suzuki GSX-S1000GT, a translation of the concept in Gran Turismo configuration. The model is equipped with an aerodynamic fairing and solutions that facilitate comfort and practicality. Highlighted aspects also include a 6,5-inch color TFT LCD screen instrumentation with connectivity solution, a Suzuki mySPIN app and 36-litre side bags.

How to participate

In view of the events scheduled on the network, you can contact the chosen dealer by telephone, by email or through the platform SmartMeet on the Suzuki Moto website, agreeing the time of the test.
In case of tests connected to events or fairs, registration is possible directly on site, according to the instructions.

The GSX-S Tour

Eight motorbikes are planned, specifically two GSX-S950, three GSX-S1000 e three GSX-S1000GT. It is possible that other Suzukis may be added to the lot based on occasions, made available by the local dealer.
The test is carried out following a trailblazer from the organization and during the journey there is time to learn about the road qualities of the vehicle tested. Each tour is preceded by a short briefing, where the technical characteristics of the motorbikes and how the controls work are illustrated. It is necessary to be equipped with and use a helmet and proprietary technical clothing.
There may be changes or cancellations to the stages reported below, in case of adverse weather conditions or other circumstances.

17 and 18 September – Perugia, at the Bocca Seriola crossing
