Suzuki GSX-R1000R Legend Edition is an exclusive series made up of seven special liveries that recall the world titles won by great champions aboard the Japanese manufacturer's motorbikes. Among these also a garment linked to the triumph of Franco Uncini in Class 500 in 1982.

The liveries of GSX-R1000R Legend Edition they further underline the strong character of the bike, keeping in mind functional aerodynamics and cutting-edge technologies. The cycling part is also interesting with a light and resistant frame, as well as suspensions that include a Showa BFF fork with a lightened upper plate and golden stays, like the external tank.
Various electronic systems are managed in an integrated manner based on the data recorded by a latest generation inertial platform. Franco Uncini and worldwide success

The livery which recalls Franco Uncini's world title recovers the colors and graphic scheme of the RGΓ500 XR40, set up in the 1982 season by Team Gallina. One tone predominates blue, while observing the tank and the fairing, you notice a multicolored band composed of white, light blue, light blue and blue. A motif that continues up to the pigtail and there are also some yellow tables number 13, just as peculiar is the coloring of the circles, still remembering that season.
Franco Uncini won by a wide margin, mathematically winning the title with four races to spare. The driver from the Marche region still remembers his affinity with the vehicle. After an initial fourth place in the opening stage in Argentina, gritting his teeth from the after-effects of a scaphoid fracture; Uncini subsequently managed to win in Austria and then take third place in Spain. The driver had already scored 103 points and the gap was now unbridgeable. Suzuki conquered in 1982 his too seventh consecutive World Manufacturers' Championship.
