With this special version we remember the 100 anniversary of the Japanese company and the model is recognizable by the distinctive livery that refers to the GSX-RR of Team Ecstar involved in the 2020 MotoGP World Championship, with retro references. The blue and slate silver shades stand out, following a classic combination that harks back to the shades of the first Suzuki racing cars of the XNUMXs.
Along with the characteristic look, we note the Akrapovič carbon exhaust terminal, approved for road use. The overall weight is reduced by 1,3 kg with an increase in power of 2,8 horsepower, taking into account the data declared with reference to the Akrapovič technical data sheet.

Among the aspects indicated also the adoption of a variable valve timing system SR-VVT (Suzuki Racing-Variable Valve Timing) refined in Grand Prix to increase maximum power and torque, reaching values ​​of 202 horses e 118 Nm.
Also listed: a Showa BFF fork, a lightened upper plate and the adoption of a slot in the frame that allows you to vary the position of the pivot for a functional fine-tuning of the set-up, considering international sporting regulations; therefore a front brake with metal braided lines and a complete package of innovative electronic devices including bidirectional quickshifter with auto-blipper, ABS with cornering function, launch control and electronic traction control adjustable to 10 levels.
Only 30 examples of the GSX-R1000R Anniversary are expected in Italy, available as reported starting from October.
