Another interesting film featuring the tester of the Team Suzuki Ecstar MotoGP Sylvain Guintoli and the sparkling one Suzuki GSX-R1000R is dedicated to set up, on the occasion of an "open track day" at Oulton Park in Great Britain.

La Suzuki GSX-R1000R features a four-cylinder engine 999,8 cc that develops 201 horses of power e 117 Nm of maximum torque at 10.800 rpm. Various solutions such as: BFF fork with lightened upper plate, Showa suspension and BFRC lite monoshock, standard ABS with cornering function, bidirectional Quick Shift gearbox and Launch Control. We remember 203 kg of curb weight and a saddle height of 825 mm.
There are also several connected devices. Among the mentioned: an ECU control unit, a Motion Track TCS (Traction Control System) on 10 levels and an inertial platform on six directions of the three spatial axes. Three driving modes are reported, together with a ride-by-wire control and an SR-VVT (Suzuki Racing-Variable Valve Timing) system associated with valve lifting and timing.

The video was shot before the lockdown period due to the pandemic linked to the Coronavirus COVID-19, as specified. Hence the blocking of various sporting and social events. Guintoli on this occasion focuses on the various modifications that can be made to refine the performance qualities of the new one Suzuki GSX-R1000R, in different weather and track conditions.
Satisfied with the titled video “HOW FAST IS A STREET BIKE” at Donington Park, using standard settings on the GSX-R1000R to set the fastest lap, the rider on his return home continued to reflect on some settings changes to refine the vehicle's performance on the track.
