Suzuki GSX-R1000 – We've been waiting for years for something new, years we've been hoping for a real change at Suzuki of the great, great millona. After seeing it in an almost definitive form last year, the legendary "Gixxer mille" has finally been renewed. The bike becomes much smaller (although it is still generously sized when compared to some of its rivals), the tail extends upwards, beautiful daytime LEDs appear in front, the analogue rev counter needle disappears, in favor of a totally digital dashboard and the exhaust terminal is perhaps the only detail that can still be improved, in a truly captivating context. Looking at the bike from the left side, the millona is almost perfect, on the exhaust side the style of the large silencer, in our opinion, could have been studied better. Not bad, because we are sure that other after market solutions will arrive soon, perhaps inspired by the Suzuki MotoGP, flame arrester included.

Two colors are available: blue with the large Suzuki writing, which is certainly the most distinctive, as well as the second, black with blue details (rims and fork), which is also beautiful, but certainly more discreet. Under the fairings the new Japanese model features a new 4 cc inline 999-cylinder engine, equipped with 202 hp of maximum power, the same given in kg, with the new aluminum frame and the Showa pressurized fork. Lots of electronics, derived from MotoGP, to discharge all the power to the ground. This super sports car promises to be balanced, easy to drive and the traction control is adjustable in 10 different positions. For the first time, the engine adopts variable valve regulation that comes directly from the MotoGP world championship bike. They allow you to have an advantage in terms of power and torque delivered, at any speed. There will be ABS, electronic gearbox and "ryde-by-wire" accelerator. In short, while waiting to discover it better, one thing is certain, "the king is back", as Suzuki likes to say!
