Suzuki GSX-R Racing Academy: a new riding school presented on the track [PHOTO]

Suzuki announces the creation of GSX-R Racing Academy, a specific school for sports driving on the track. The start of this experience is scheduled for 2021.

An opportunity for sports enthusiasts and in particular GSX-R enthusiasts, who can spend days on some of the most famous Italian tracks, honing their driving techniques. Appointments are scheduled on tracks such as the Misano World Circuit and the Mugello Autodrome, according to the indications, being able to attend the courses with your own GSX-R or by renting a GSX-R1000R among those available. The 2021 calendar is still being defined.

Who is it aimed at and how

The course is aimed at those who already have a good knowledge of road riding and want to hone that same confidence and skill on the track too, but it may also be of interest to those who wish to get to know the Suzuki GSX-R1000R. A proposal also addressed to owners of GSX-R models, inclined to exploit the potential of their respective bikes in safety.
The initiative GSX-R Racing Academy allows enthusiasts to spend a day on the track followed by qualified instructors. The objective of the courses is to improve the understanding and mastery of the trajectories for riding in a sporting manner, also recognizing the limits and managing the reactions of a high-performance motorbike, with short theoretical sessions and track tests.
The briefings focus on safety on the track, on the technological devices available on the GSX-R1000R taking into account ABS Cornering, Launch Control and Traction Control, on suspension tuning, on the optimal driving position and on the right trajectories.
