Suzuki GSX-R 1000: lots of carbon to dream of the track

Suzuki – A photo on the official Facebook profile was enough to ignite the imagination of Suzuki enthusiasts who are working on a new product with a racing flavour. In fact, an image of the front fairing of what should be a new version has been published on the page Suzuki GSX-R1000. A beautiful front where you can see the fairing, lever guard, adjustments that come directly from the track, but above all beautiful carbon fairings.

Suzuki GSX-R 1000: for the road or the track?

No particular information comes from Suzuki, but a photograph like this opens the doors to several possible scenarios. The most probable is the one that leads to the release, in the coming months, of a super sports car made in Hamamatsu with a special set-up inspired by the world of racing or even a real racing version in the wake (it is appropriate to say) of the BMW HP4, perhaps with a handful more horsepower and a "track oriented" setup. It is no coincidence that in the photo released the fairing has no rear-view mirrors. Meanwhile, photos are circulating from the United Kingdom of a Suzuki GSX-R1000 with graphics inspired by Team Buildbase which will be produced in just 50 pieces and will have many components inherited from the British Superbike. The colors are those of the motorcycles of Bradley Ray, Richard Cooper e Billy McConnell, the British riders of the Buildbase team involved in the Superbike and Superstock 1000 championships. The bike also has a Yoshimura R11 SQ exhaust and is equipped with original Suzuki accessories. The DOHC 999,8 cc 4-stroke, 4-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine is capable of releasing a maximum power of 201 HP. There are three riding modes available to the rider, 10-level traction control, quick shift system and slipper clutch. Brembo Monoblock brakes are equipped with ABS. The 50 limited units will only be available to European customers.
