Suzuki: great success for the Ravenna stage of the V-Strom Academy

Suzuki – The event organized at Tre Ponti cross-track di Ravenna kicked off the season of V-Strom Academy, the off-road driving school created by Suzuki to introduce lovers of twin-cylinder Enduro Tourers to off-roading. We were too present.

The first students greatly appreciated the new formula of the V-Strom Academy, which allowed them to make important progress in their riding technique and to improve their ability to control the motorbike, even in the most delicate passages and on low-grip terrain. The school teaches how to exploit the great versatility of the V-STROM 650XT and 1000XT in absolute safety and above all while having fun, in a peaceful and friendly environment. Teaching is effective, thanks to clear theoretical concepts and targeted practical exercises, carried out under the constant supervision of qualified instructors. The V-Strom Academy represents something unique in the panorama of off-road schools and is aimed at all motorcyclists, even customers of other brands, eager to learn how to manage the over 200 kg of an Enduro Tourer away from the asphalt. It is in fact an intensive one-day course, which gives up frills and the glamorous aspect to give space only to the desire for freedom, the passion for two wheels and teaching. After a welcome coffee, the V-STROM Academy program begins with a briefing, during which the exercises and techniques with which to carry them out are illustrated in dedicated areas. There are two practical sessions, with the students asked to get on the saddle both in the morning and in the afternoon, after lunch. The last test requires the students to try their hand at a technical tape on board the V-STROMs. The more daring can then tackle the same route with an RM-Z250 cross bike, a vehicle capable of excelling in MX2 class races and providing unforgettable riding emotions.

The next meeting of the V-STROM Academy is scheduled for June 16th, again at the Tre Ponti cross-track in Ravenna. For each date there are only eight places available, ideal for the students to be looked after as best as possible and receive more precise instructions from the instructors. It is therefore a good idea to hurry and book because there is a risk that it will soon be sold out, also given the very competitive cost of the course. A day at the V-STROM Academy costs 290 euros, a figure that includes welcome coffee, lunch and Suzuki gadgets as well as the use of one of the school's motorbikes, to which Suzuki has entrusted four V-STROM 650XT and four V-STROM 1000XT.
