Suzuki: financial results for the period April-December 2022

the brand Suzuki announced i financial results relating to the third quarter of the year 2022, a period ranging between April e December 2022. According to reports, net turnover grew by 838,5 billion yen, equal to 6 billion euros, with an increase of 32,6% on an annual basis, reaching 3.412,8 billion yen corresponding to 24,5 billion of Euro.

A positive balance

Il operating profit increased of 120,3 billion yen, equal to 865,5 million euros, given a growth of 82,0% on an annual basis, to 267,0 billion yen which corresponds to 1,9 billion euros. The result of ordinary activities increased by 94,7 billion yen equal to 681,3 million euros with an increase of 46,4%, reaching 298,6 billion yen on an annual basis corresponding to 2,1 billion euros, however the profit attributable to the shareholders of the parent company increased by 47,6 billion yen, i.e. 342,4 million euros with a growth of 35,1% again on an annual basis to 183,4 billion yen (1,3 .XNUMX billion euros).

Suzuki has several divisions ranging from cars, to two-wheelers, to the development of marine engines; just talking about Motorcycle Division net sales increased by 12,1 billion yen. Translated 87 million euros with an increase of 18,7% on an annual basis, thus reaching 76,9 billion yen which corresponds to 553,2 million euros.
Operating profit rose by 5,3 billion yen, equal to 38,1 million euros, with a jump of 226,7% on an annual basis, to 7,7 billion yen, equal to 55,4 million euros, given a significant increase in margin corresponding to 10%, thanks above all to the improvement in the mix/sales price linked in particular to the increase in prices in India, exchange rates and the increase in volumes, as reported.
