Suzuki, the new Suzuki Gixxer spotted in India

Suzuki – The entries relating to a new small sports bike of Suzuki have been circulating for at least five years and not without foundation, but in the end it was finally and truly spotted during a road test in India. MotorBeam.com captured this image of Suzuki's future sports “mini” which, due to local Indian laws, is supposed to be one 150 tsp.

Suzuki was already working on a version semi-faired by Gixxer and now the Japanese motorcycle company seems to be planning to launch one complete faired version, maybe the future Suzuki GSX150R. A two-wheeler to be positioned at the upper end of the premium 150cc segment. Suzuki is betting a lot on the Gixxer platform and therefore on the motorcycles 150 tsp, a segment in which the Bajaj Pulsar and Yamaha FZ have long dominated.

La cycling it is very similar to the naked version, while what has changed is the front, especially the headlights and the windshield, which is mounted directly on the fairing. The future Suzuki Gixxer will feature a 154.9 tsp, capable of generating 14,8 CV of power and 14 Nm of torque. Suzuki could, however, modify the engine to make it more incisive then taking care of the additional weight.

The official launch could very likely arrive by the middle of next year, date by which we also expect to see a rear disc as standard.
