Suzuki – The 2017 edition of EICMA it was the scene of the European debut of the new one Suzuki SV650X, a fascinating retro-style café racer unveiled as a world premiere a few weeks ago at the Tokyo Motor Show. Developed on the basis of the SV650, this bike demonstrates how the Hamamatsu V-Twin can be the ideal basis for any type of transformation, thanks to its slim and light silhouette. The SV650X stands out first of all for the original rounded fairing enlivened by small slits on the sides of the circular headlight. The sporty style is accentuated by the adoption of semi-handlebars, which define a slightly forward riding position, which ensures total control, but without sacrificing too much of the convenience necessary for city use. The box seat creates a suggestive single-seater effect with the passenger side smooth and the rider side featuring a vintage cross-stitched design. The picture is completed by the black footrests and the exclusive two-tone Glass Sparkle Black-Metallic Oort Grey, with the Suzuki writing in place of the S in relief on the tank, whose capacity increases by 0,7 liters up to a total of 14,5 , to the benefit of autonomy.

The SV650X is powered by a Euro 4 V-twin engine, narrow, light and which uses the latest technologies such as the Suzuki Easy Start System and Low RPM Assist, which facilitate starts and departures. The particular sequence of explosions gives it a decisive character, while the meticulous reduction of internal friction allows it to rev up rapidly with each rotation of the accelerator and to have incredible acceleration. The sturdy tubular frame reduces transverse dimensions and is supported by a new fork with adjustable spring preload. The most demanding riders can thus adjust the set-up as desired, to make the most of the handling and grip also offered by the Dunlop RoadSmart III tyres.

The first deliveries are expected in January. To further customize it, you can choose many of the original SV650 accessories, as well as a pair of new additional LED spotlights.
