EICMA 2021 Suzuki - On the occasion of EICMA 2021, Suzuki has decided to present several interesting innovations.

We start with the 2022 version of the katana, which arrives with two new colors, matte blue with gold details and rims and gray with red details. But the news doesn't just stop at aesthetics, in fact the new version is equipped with a new engine, now Euro 5 approved, capable of delivering 152 HP. The adoption of a ride-by-wire electronic accelerator control ensures great sensitivity for the rider and the possibility of managing new devices in an integrated way, such as the three SDMS riding mode selector and the “Aprisereno” – traction control system STCS with five levels and can be deactivated. Among the other innovations, the introduction of the up and down quickshifter and the SCAS assisted slipper clutch should also be highlighted.

The other two new features concern two special liveries that celebrate Suzuki's racing successes: SERT Edition e GP Editionand GSX-S950 and GSX-S1000. This year the Hamamatsu company won its twentieth Endurance title and the livery of the bike that won the championship has been faithfully reproduced. The second livery, however, is also a dutiful tribute to the title MotoGP conquered in 2020 by Joan mir.

Suzuki is also present in the pavilion V-Tree 650 XT with a new assortment of colors and V-Tree 1050 XT characterized by liveries that recall the Dakarian experience. Also on display is the entire Suzuki proposal for 2022, ranging from Burgman 400, passing by RM-Z cross and eclectic V-Strom, up to powerful and fast Hayabusa.
