Stealth B-52: a new way to move easily on two wheelsStealth B-52: a new way to move easily on two wheels

Among the features of the new Stealth B-52 a component stands out that evolves the way of transmitting the power expressed on the pedal to the ground: the new one H-Box.

An advanced electric bike

Recalling Vbox's previous twist-grip shifter, a quick and efficient solution for gear changes, but which could also lead to accidental shifts and false neutrals when on rough terrain the hand was forced to move back and forth on the handle; with the new H-Box a different approach has been taken with the introduction of a new H-Shifter, an electromechanical shifting system. The action of a button allows the new model to switch from one gear to another without misfiring or unexpected pedaling.

Powered by the main battery of the Stealth B-52, the gearbox controlled by a servo motor has been used for over 2 years, observing its operation. Furthermore, if the traction battery is completely discharged, the H-Shifter's reserve power supply automatically acts to continue shifting gears.
A pedal mechanism has been defined to be compatible with the ISIS Drive system for different styles, lengths and brands of cranks.

Among the interesting features of the old Vbox is a concentric swingarm pivot, known to avoid chain extension when the suspension operates during its travel. The H-Box employs the same principle, as reported, but features much larger bearings to almost completely avoid torsional flex through the swingarm, during rear wheel movement.

Defined internally, the H-Box is developed in Australia. This is not just a variant of the old unit, we started from a blank sheet of paper to create a peculiar and resistant transmission system.
The H-Box's ultra-low gear is functional for steep climbs and low-speed passages, but the wide gear ratio allows you to pedal up to a speed of 80 km/h, according to the indications.
