Smart, electric scooter at the Paris International Motor Show

The most authoritative virtual automotive publications have talked about it: why can't we do it, since we eat and digest two wheels in much less time? If you weren't aware, Smart felt the need to venture into a new mobility segment, to breathe life into the somewhat dull range. As he did at the beginning, therefore: he threw himself headlong into an impassable - and swampy - sector. And never mind if you lose money after money upon money.

Well, the Teutonic manufacturer announced, in July of this year, that it will show a prototype of an electric scooter at the Paris Motor Show. Therefore, alongside the large sedans of the Three-Pointed Star, the imposing Mercedes SUVs and the luxurious sports cars of the Stuttgart car manufacturer, Smart will exhibit a small two-wheeler.

Electric: Smart focuses everything on this energy and does so with the usual aberration. The details of the scooter that will be produced by the car manufacturer (which will also become a motorcycle one, it seems) nor the technical specifications of such a particular propulsion architecture are known.

The Smart electric scooter will have a lithium ion battery, which will be able to guarantee - it seems - an autonomy of around 100 kilometres. Smart technicians are working to make the city two-wheeler a concentrate of safety: it seems that the scooter will be equipped with a front airbag for protection in the event of an accident. It is plausible that numerous automotive technologies will be imported for the project. We will see him at the French event, which is scheduled from 2 to 17 October, in Paris.
