Skoda: a tradition also in the bicycle sector [PHOTO]

A range of 17 models, including e-bike models

In the signed proposal Škoda There are cars and bicycles. In addition to the four-wheeled models, the Bohemian brand presents 17 models of bicycles, ranging from types for children to pedal-assisted ones, which can be ordered from dealerships linked to the brand. Along i 125 years of the manufacturer, this tradition is also remembered.

A varied proposal on two wheels

From the network of sales points it is therefore possible to request information on the range accessible in Italy, as well as the matching accessories. As mentioned, the overview is varied starting from the examples designed for the little ones, then continuing with traditional city bicycles, or those developed for road cycling enthusiasts, as well as versatile mountain bikes up to e-bikes. For example e-mountain bikes “EMTB full” with front and rear suspension or alternatively the “EMTB”, both equipped with Shimano STEPS E7000 movement and 8010Wh STEPS BT-E504 battery. The electrified proposal also includes "crossover" models E-BIKE ed E-BIKE lady.
For lovers of exploration, three traditional mountain bike models are worth mentioning: MTB 29 FULL, MTB 29 e MTB LADY. The first bike features a carbon frame, SRAM Eagle shifting and DT Swiss suspension with 100mm of travel, taking the information. Finally, for motorists who wish to use a bike in the so-called "last kilometre", the foldable model is highlighted STRETCHGO which can be placed in the luggage compartment of the vehicle.

Going back to the origins

The Bohemian company has been dealing with bicycles since the first years of activity. The founders, Vaclav Laurin e Vaclav Klement, started with pedal two-wheelers and in 1905 expanded production to also include cars. Throughout its 125-year history the house has remained linked to bicycles. A relationship highlighted by 16 years as Official Partner of Tour de France, with the supply of cars to the race management, the organization and various participating teams.
