EICMA 2018 has opened: super sports cars in the foreground, but not only [LIVE VIDEO]

EICMA 2018 opened the doors to the press, on the day in which all the news is revealed, and then also revealed to the entire public, from November 8st to 11th, when there will be a huge crowd of all the fans. Super sports cars dominate the scene

The 2018 edition of EICMA will feature the supersport, those that light up the souls of enthusiasts, even if they are sold at a reduced rate compared to other models. The queen of the salon is La Ducati Panigale V4 R., presented on Sunday evening: a racing motorcycle, also approved for road use. This model closes the cycle of the transition from the V2 to the V4 engine, which lasted more than a year, and has a power of 221 HP, which can however rise to 234 HP with the Akrapovic racing exhaust.

But there are also other models expected in this sector: from MV Agusta Brutale 1000, the fastest Naked ever, passing to the Japanese, with the Yamaha YZF-R1 GYTR 2019, dedicated to track use to celebrate the 20th anniversary of one of the group's most iconic models. Honda and Kawasaki will also do the same. There are also the Germans, with the in the foreground BMW S1000RR, revolutionized and completely new.

Even off-road and electric

There are not only super sports cars, however: for lovers of off-road there is the Yamaha Tenerè 700 approved for the road, as is the KTM with the 790. These two bikes raise the bar and distance themselves from conventional twin-cylinder bikes, with higher weights and dimensions.

Among the most interesting models we also find the Harley Davidson LiveWire, the first electric motorcycle of a company known for motorcycles with thermal engines. But there will be some surprise news, which will be revealed over the next few hours.
