Shoei VFX-WR: safety and technology at the highest levels

Shoei VFX-WR - Shoei, thanks to the VFX series, has carved out a place among the leaders in the off-road safety device segment, thanks to a perfect recipe made of innovative design and exceptional safety features. With the new Shoei VFX-WR, the company promises to raise the bar even further when it comes to head protection and high-end safety.

Shoei has adopted a for the VFX-WR new internal shell mechanism for MEDS shock wave absorption (Motion Energy Distribution System), which is a more technically advanced system than conventional multi-density shell systems. While the external layers of EPS dissipate the impact, absorbing the energy, an additional central layer of dynamic EPS reduces the rotational energy in the event of an accident. Anchored by a wider central column, the EPS portion oscillates during impact, allowing the three perimeter columns to absorb the energy. The result is a significant reduction in the rotational force discharged on the motorcyclist's head.

The Shoei VFX-WR will be available in 6 sizes, from XS to XXL, produced on four different external shell sizes, made of SHOEI AIM+ fiber blend. Naturally the standard features are of a high standard, as expected from every Shoei shell.

The product features are completed by the ventilation system made up of 16 air inlets and extractors to keep the temperature inside the shell cool. Optimal comfort is guaranteed by the interior made of 3D Max-Dry which is entirely removable and washable. This model is also equipped with the well-known emergency cheek pad release system Emergency Quick Release System (EQRS) and a large viewing window for greater peripheral visibility and to position all types of masks on the market.
