Second-hand market: slight decline in June

THEused of two wheels is characterized by a trend of stability in the month of June compared to the numbers of the previous month. He registered a slight decline, of 0,6%, compared to May when the difference with the same period of 2010 showed an encouraging +12,6%, thanks to the increase in passages ownership of motorcycles. Instead, summarizing the overall data on the used market for the first half of 2011, there was an increase of 4 percent for two-wheelers and 2,6% for cars.

The numbers and statistical data were collected and reported in the latest monthly bulletin Auto Trend which represents the traditional statistical analysis carried out by the ACI (Automobile Club of Italy) on PRA data. Looking at the numbers relating to radiation in the month of May, different trends are confirmed between cars and motorbikes. While the radiation of motorbikes increased by 19,2%, those of cars decreased by 6,1%. The same contrasting trend between cars and motorbikes is also confirmed by the radiation data referring to the first six months of 2011: +2,7% for motorcycles and -22,9% for cars.
