A film proposed by SEAT, on YouTube, summarizes the emotions of the two Guinness World Records™ obtained in 48 hours with a sample of the new electric scooter SEAT MÓ 125 Performance on the international route of Zuera, near Zaragoza, Spain. The model is expected in its 79th edition EICMA, the International Two Wheel Exhibition scheduled between 8 and 13 November 2022 at Rho Fiera Milano.

A double challenge won

Two records obtained within 48 hours it is a resounding goal, achieved with a preparation phase, team work and an optimal set-up of the electric vehicle which features sophisticated components defined in collaboration with Öhlins, Andreani, Shad, Galfer, Blunik.
The same example was driven for two days in a row in order to verify how many kilometers it could do each day, in two different types of tests, with a team and driven individually. In total 2.588 kilometers traveled in 48 hours, more or less the distance in a straight line between Barcelona in Spain and Helsinki in Finland.
The Eurobursar SEAT MO led by Quim Guitiérrez, Quality Manager of SEAT MÓ and Dani García, Micromobility Chief Technical Officer, underlined the level reached by the electric scooter, highlighted by the records. The specimen, camouflaged so as not to reveal its shape until its presentation at EICMA, made it possible to establish the first record in the team test within 24 hours, covering 1.430 kilometers. An outcome more than double that of the previous record. Five expert pilots took turns in a relay with changes set for each battery change, approximately every 50 minutes. The team included Ivo Viscasillas, collaborator of the Complete Vehicle department of the Research and Development area of SEAT SA, the journalist Judit Florensa and the pilots Cristian Marín, Miquel Viñola and Jordi Gené, engaged on this special occasion on a two-wheeled vehicle. In the following 24 hours, the Italian journalist Valerio Boni took to the track, riding the same electric scooter for 1.158 kilometers, with short stops to change the battery just over every hour and the occasional 40-minute break.
