Seat MÓ 125 Performance: the most powerful version of the eScooter makes its debut [PHOTO]

Seat has presented the world the new Seat MÓ 125 Performances. The standard version represents an excellent solution that adapts to the needs of urban mobility and citizens. However, the performance version adds that extra touch to go further and has even achieved two world records.

In addition to all the features offered by the current variant, the new MÓ 125 Performances It has several features that make it more appealing. For example, we find an upgraded engine, an improved braking system, racing suspension and a higher quality seat for both the driver and the passenger. The end result is a eScooter which offers excellent performance in urban and extra-urban environments in extreme cold and heat conditions and also on the track.

He has won two Guinness World Records

The excellent performances offered have allowed the new electric scooter to take home two Guinness World Records for the maximum distance traveled on a zero-emission scooter. During the tests, Seat underwent a long journey aboard the MÓ 125 Performances, proving that he is ready to challenge the dangers of the urban jungle.

The first Guinness World Records was won for having established the greatest distance traveled on an electric scooter in 24 hours by a relay team on October 6th, for a total of 1430 km. The next day, the eScooter marked the maximum distance traveled by an electric scooter in 24 hours in the individual category with 1158 km.

A more powerful electric motor was used

The team from the Spanish company worked hard to transfer the characteristics of the zero-emission scooter from the track to the city. Under the body hides a advanced electric motor capable of developing a peak power of 11,5 kW at the rear wheel.

Furthermore, the Performance version boasts the eBoost function which allows the vehicle to have an additional boost, helping to overcome traffic. This technology allows you to achieve a maximum speed of 105 km/h for 30 seconds. Seat says the system can be reactivated again after two minutes. The sprint from 0 to 50 km/h has also been reduced from 3,9 to 2,9 seconds.

As mentioned earlier, Seat has also improved the braking system of the new Seat MÓ 125 Performance, integrating Galfer high-performance brake discs and pads. There is also an updated suspension system designed specifically for this model.

The Ohlins rear shock absorber can be fully adjusted to each person's riding style. In particular, you can adjust the compression and rebound as well as the spring preload.

Comfort is guaranteed by the introduction of a new star developed in collaboration with Shad. The double seat in black alcantara offers great comfort, helping to reduce the stress of driving on congested roads.

Up to 137 km of autonomy on a single charge

On an aesthetic level, the Performance version brings with it some updated aesthetic details that make it stand out more. Examples are the three-dimensional glossy black MÓ 125 badge on the left side, the glossy black battery protection ring and the black front fairing.

There is also a removable, easily transportable, trolley-style battery pack with a capacity of 5,6 kWh that weighs just over 40 kg and guarantees up to 137 km of autonomy with a single charge in the WLTP cycle. The battery can be recharged while still mounted in the vehicle or removed and connected to a household socket. It takes six to eight hours to fully charge.

Finally, Seat has launched two exclusive colors for the new Seat MÓ 125 Performance called Blue Tarifa e Barcelona grey. Deliveries will start in first quarter of 2023.
