Full Throttle, Café Racer and Desert Sled inspired by the great myths but with a technological touch
“We are fond of Scrambler” began Claudio Domenicali, CEO of Ducati during the World Premier. “A product that has seen us working hard since 2015, with at least two new versions a year. In 2018 the first major intervention on the Icon model. The Scrambler was born from a model from the sixties, reinterpreted and which today arrives with the most important reinterpretation".
During the presentation, three new versions were revealed: Full Throttle, Café Racer and Desert Sled.
New electronic components arrive for the three models such as: the ABS cornering, the dashboard designed for connection with smartphones.
Full throttle takes inspiration from the flat track bike ridden by the Mexican Frankie Garcia in the 2018 American Super Hooligan championship. It is equipped with a double muffler exhaust, short mudguard and low handlebars. Colour: Hooligan livery with black frame and black saddle.
Cafè Racer is characterized by the new 17" spoked wheels, the exhaust has a double terminal in anodized aluminum, upside down fork with black stays. There are many peculiarities that make this version like the graphics that derive from the races of the 60s.
Desert Sled is a true off-road vehicle with a 200 mm travel fork and is also equipped with an “Off Road” Riding Mode in which it is possible to disengage the ABS for off-road riding. The color is White Mirage with red frame and spoked wheels with black channels.
