Ducati Scrambler: 100.000 units delivered reached

They have been delivered to the world 100.000 examples of Scrambler®, a significant result achieved in the year in which we remember the 60 years since the birth of the first model. The project was relaunched by Ducati in 2015, keeping in mind the typical ingredients of motorcycle from the 60s and configuring a new world called "Land of Joy", which contains the values ​​of this form of dynamism.

Different ways to remember the anniversary

In recent months, enthusiasts visiting the Ducati Museum have been able to retrace the history of Scrambler® Through the temporary exhibition “Scrambler 60th”, which can be accessed until the end of September. The aforementioned Land of Joy and the concepts associated with it are told: design, lifestyle, customisation, exploration and self-expression. It was also possible to leave a trace of the passage on the wall dedicated to the theme of self-expression, recognizable by the colored post-its with the reflections and emotions of those who visited the exhibition.

In celebrating the anniversary and the goals, Scrambler® Ducati collaborated with Carrera Eyewear, already the Official Partner of Ducati Corse for the Eyewear Collection, on the development of a limited edition sunglasses of only 60 pieces.
An example characterized by the characteristic style of the Carrera brand with details that recall the Land of Joy brand, such as the Scrambler® Ducati logo on the right lens and the finishing in the Scrambler® “62Yellow” colour. The double nose bridge bears the Scrambler Ducati logo and the 60th anniversary celebratory logo appears on the temple on the right. Also highlighted is an exclusive customized packaging with references linked to Scrambler® present on the model.
This is a limited edition proposal starting from 1 October exclusively on Carrera e-commerce in Europe as well as in the United States, and on Ducati e-commerce in the Old Continent.

Remembering the history of the Scrambler® Ducati, we go back to the request of the Berliner brothers, Ducati importers for the United States in the 60s, who wanted a model that would meet the tastes of motorcyclists from overseas. The first Scrambler® model went into production in 1962 and came out in 1975. He was recognizable in particular by the style and non-conformist spirit of that period, as well as his technical skills.

There are different interpretations that they construct the range since 2015, starting from the first Scrambler® Icon in the variants urban enduro, Full Throttle, Street Classics e Classic; followed by Mach 2.0,limited edition Italia Independent, Flat Track PRO, Cafe Racer, Desert sled, Sixty2 , Icon Dark. The overview is completed by the new and most recent ones 1100 Tribute PRO, night shift e Urban Motard.
