Scrambler Ducati: a reinterpretation of the Scrambler Icon with the “City of Desire” work

Ducati Scrambler introduces to the public thework by Michelangelo Barbieri “City of desire”, developed exclusively for lo Ducati Food Factory Scrambler of Bologna in collaboration with Galleria Forni, for the45th edition of Arte Fiera scheduled in Bologna from 13 al 15 May 2022.

The realization

The installation is present in the spaces of the Scrambler Ducati Food Factory in Bologna, in via Stalingrado 27/6, from 12 to 30 May. It is part of the program of works visible within the scope of ART CITY Bologna e Arte Fiera, then from the 3 June to the 10 July is intended for a dedicated area in Ducati Museum of Borgo Panigale.

The work of the Bolognese artist proposes and interprets it in a particular way Scrambler® Icon, transmitting that emotion and freedom of expression typical of both Barbieri's vision and Scrambler®.
An "exploded" concept that becomes art, between what you see and what you imagine of this "City of Desire".

You can see the different elements that make up the example and, in Barbieri's idea, the vital parts of the Scrambler® are differentiated and placed based on "a specific structure", giving shape to a suggestive scheme. In this case a symbol of freedom and dynamism like the motorbike remains still and sectioned, to be admired in all its forms.

A new light comes from the fragments recomposed within a structure that recalls the stylized scheme of a house and that Barbieri proposes as a "City", an aspect that we find in all of his works.

An architecture as a protective element, a stage for interesting moments, where order is subverted to give shape to new experiences proposed as a game, as reported.
