The colors, the panache and the essence of the new models Scrambler® Ducati Icon, Full Throttle e night shift are highlighted in the video proposed by Ducati on Youtube.

Design and Technology

The models are expected in dealerships in March 2023 and, together with the characteristic colours, present new instrumentation and functional solutions such as Ride-by-Wire, Riding ModesQuickShift.
Each example, aesthetically redefined, represents an interpretation of the lively and multifaceted essence of Scrambler®. The heart is an air-cooled twin-cylinder Desmodue engine associated with a trellis frame with wide handlebars, a low center of gravity, low weight and functional electronics.
The aesthetics of the new generation maintain a peculiar but evolved design, embellished with particular elements for each model. The front DRL (Daytime Running Light) light signature is made up of four sectors that outline a circular shape with the distinctive "X" of the headlight, now full LED. The design of the rear light has also been renewed, already full LED, which retains the connotative semicircle shape, furthermore the directional indicators are LED.
Among the features, a new instrumentation with TFT from 4,3 inches color and dedicated HMI. From an aesthetic, but also technical point of view, the Desmodue twin-cylinder engine features new clutch and alternator covers characterized by the "X" style, while the belt cover plates are now characterized by a more refined setting, in light of the new design. The accessories also include the Ducati Multimedia System, which allows connection with a mobile device. 
The steel tank has also been reconfigured, as are other details and an advanced exhaust system with minimalist aesthetic features and a characteristic turn of the manifolds is highlighted. The proposal also refers to accessories and clothing.

Technique and engine

The new generation of Scrambler®, as well as a containment of 4 kg, presents renewed contents. Starting from the chassis, the frame, while remaining a trellis, is updated. The swingarm is also new combined with a shock absorber relocated to the central area of ​​the vehicle and the weight of the engine is also highlighted through interventions. The rear subframe is separate from the frame.
The steering angle is slightly increased to facilitate maneuvering and urban traffic, furthermore the range of technological solutions is varied with introduced accelerator management Ride-by-Wire which allows the use of Ducati Traction Control. Two combined Riding Modes are also indicated: Road e Wet. An ABS Cornering solution is also standard.
The circles remain from 18 e 17 inches, respectively on the front and rear sides, equipped with a new design.
The weight of the evolved Desmodue engine it has been downsized by approximately 2,5 kg compared to the previous generation. There is a new eight-plate clutch featuring smoother actuation, according to the claims. The propulsive heart is an air-cooled two-valve twin-cylinder and the power reaches high levels 73 horses. It is also reported in the da version 35 kW, aimed at enthusiasts in possession of an A2 driving licence.
With the help of Ride by Wire, the new generation of Desmodue can be associated with Quick Shift up/down, present as standard on the Full Throttle or offered as an accessory on the other models.

The specimens

Scrambler® Icon it depicts the Scrambler® essence and features a new tank that allows it to be customised. The colored portion is a replaceable cover; the same goes for the fenders, the tags on the rims and the small headlight covers, as reported.

Among the aspects highlighted are also a lower handlebar and closer to the rider, black underseat side panels with Scrambler® graphics and a redefined saddle with a more tapered shape.
In addition to the three standard colors '62 Yellow, Thrilling Black and Ducati Red, there are another six as an accessory kit, totaling nine different liveries. Among the colors we also mention: the light Rio Celeste, the Jade Green which recalls jade and the Velvet Red.
Sportsmanship, on the other hand, is connotative of the specimen Scrambler® Full Throttle, which recalls Flat Track competitions. The side number plates with the number 62 above stand out and refer to the year 1962, the year of the debut of the first Ducati Scrambler® in perfect Tracker style, as well as a sump guard. The riding position still suggests sportiness, noting a lower handlebar with a variable section compared to that of the Scrambler® Icon.

The saddle, its upholstery and the dedicated livery in Red GP19/Dark Stealth with black finish on the exhaust heat shields and front side covers are also characteristic. The model is also equipped with a shorter front mudguard, red tags on the alloy wheels, Ducati Performance LED indicators, a tail without the rear mudguard and an approved Termignoni silencer. As mentioned, Quick Shift up/down is standard.
A Rosso GP19 seat cover, which defines a single-seater look, is proposed as an accessory.
Finally there is the elegant specimen Scrambler® Nightshift, characterized by shiny and matt surfaces, as well as more classic details such as a stitched saddle with a dark leather color, which refers to the Cafè Racer models.

The Nebula Blue shade and the black spoked wheels reinforce the vision and the flat handlebars with a variable section and bar-end mirrors are also highlighted, again in Café Racer style.
The Scrambler® Nightshift also features side number plates, there are also compact LED directional indicators, a minimal front mudguard and you can also see the black finishes for the aluminum aesthetic details.
