Ducati Scrambler, the "Most Beautiful Motorcycle" of EICMA 2014

Ducati Scrambler – It was one of the most anticipated bikes of the seventy-second edition of the EICMA and in the end it also took home the scepter of “Most beautiful bike at the Show”. We are talking about the Ducati Scrambler which, with 43 percent of the votes, out of the over 10.000 voters who participated in the competition organized by the Italian magazine "Motociclismo", beat all its other fierce two-wheeled rivals.

The Ducati Scrambler was the most voted motorcycle both at the fair and on the web and won with almost three times the preferences assigned to the second place, stuck at 15 percent. The award ceremony for the "Most beautiful Motorcycle of the Show" took place at the stand of Motociclismo magazine and was the last act of an intense week of exhibition and events which saw an increase of approximately 25 percent in visitors compared to 2013, giving a significant sign of recovery for an important and driving sector such as the motorcycle sector, which is particularly suffering from the current economic crisis.

The Ducati Scrambler only weighs 170 Kg. dry and mount a 800 cm³ twin-cylinder air engine equipped with optimal torque even at the lowest speeds and which develops a power of 75 CV, the saddle height can be limited to just 770 mm, which allows full control of the motorbike and a riding position which, thanks to the high and wide handlebars, is particularly comfortable and relaxing. The Ducati Scrambler is available in four versions: Icon, yellow or red, urban enduro, characterized by the “Wild Green” color suitable for those who love dirt roads, Full Throttle, for those fascinated by the world of flat track racing and Classic for those who love details and 70s style; Furthermore, through the vast range of accessories available, each Scrambler can be further enhanced customized, allowing all enthusiasts to express their creativity.

The new Ducati Scrambler will be available in Italy from the month of February 2015 starting from 8.240 euros ex-dealer.
