Scorpion Sports EXO R1 Air: protection, sportiness and new Fabrio Replica graphics [PHOTO]

A racing helmet for speed enthusiasts also with new Fabio Replica graphics, which recalls those of the pilot fabio quartararo. EXO R1 Air, initialed Scorpio Sports, presents a renewed and aerodynamic design as well as functional features in the sports panorama.

Information

Three shell sizes are proposed, respectively for sizes XS-M, L e XL with proportionate volumes. Considering a refinement of the technology ULTRA-TCT™ (ULTRA-Thermodynamic Composite Technology), the reported weight is 1.280 g in size M (+/- 50 g), improving by approximately 40 g compared to the previous model. In addition to thehomologation ECE, in the racing version only there is FIM certification with the requirements for MotoGP®. For any emergency situations, the 2nd generation rapid cheek pad extraction system simplifies the removal of the helmet, carried out by specialized healthcare personnel.

Features

The aforementioned ULTRA-TCT™ shell (similar to TCT™ but with a higher percentage of noble fibres) is light and allows for ample energy absorption in the event of an impact, in light of a progressive deformation capacity. Evaluated in a wind tunnel, the appearance is aerodynamic, promoting stability at high speeds.
We note a large upper air intake equipped with a tension spring that can be opened by touch, with a low profile keeping in mind the efficiency of the helmet. The air projected inside comes out from the rear extractor, generating a useful aerodynamic load.
Through a mechanism Ellip-Tec™ II, the visor can be replaced without the use of tools and thanks to the springs an airtight tightening is ensured, also ensuring silence and driving comfort. There is also a central locking mechanism that allows for easy closing and opening, with a wide and improved vertical vision when compared to the predecessor EXO-2000 Evo Air. The visor can also be left and locked in a slightly open position, useful at low speeds.

Given the racing typology, the 2D visor It is equipped with tear-off supports. Together with the transparent visor there is a "Dark Smoke" typology as standard, therefore a solution Pinlock® 100% MaxVision for an anti-fogging action.
Moving inside, there are shaped foam cushions with 3D laser cutting, removable and washable covers, synergistic together with the covering fabric KwikWick®III which is hypoallergenic, antimicrobial and breathable, therefore also theEPS multiple density follows and embraces the shapes of the face. Also including a system AIR FIT® which allows you to inflate and deflate the cushions to facilitate the fit and, thanks to the internal profiling “KwikFit™”, it is possible to use more popular glasses models, as indicated.
Finally, always considering safety, a ring locking system is highlighted “Double-D” made of lightweight titanium.

Proposal

The typology Solid in Matt Black, Pearl White is offered at 369,90 euros, while the versions Helley graphics, Infinite, Corpus, bread at 399,90 euros. So the variant Fabio Reply with dominant features in grey, red and black at 439,90 euros, always according to the indications.
