Scorpion Sports: two novelties at EICMA 2019

At EICMA 2019 Scorpion presented two absolute innovations: EXO S1 e EXO-R1 CARBON AIR, the first is a Jet helmet that seeks to stand out for its design and comfort, while the second is a racing helmet dedicated to all those who love the track and speed.

Scorpion EXO S1

The visor of the new EXO S1 is very extended in length so as to offer perfect aerodynamic protection. The internal Speedview sun visor protects the eyes from excessive sunlight, small objects and dust. The interiors, made of soft 3D foam, are covered in KwikWickIII® fabric and are completely removable and washable, as well as extremely comfortable in any season of the year. Although it is a Jet helmet, particular attention was paid to the internal ventilation which in the upper part includes the "Aero-Tuned" channel system while the large and long visor, combined with shapes studied in the wind tunnel, guarantees a flow of the air very “clean” in the lower part. Scorpion Sports EXO R1 CARBON AIR

The shell of the new EXO R1 CARBON AIR is in Ultra-TCT CARBON, a very light material capable of offering superior level protection. Tested extensively in the wind tunnel, EXO R1 Carbon Air has an aerodynamic shape that guarantees great stability even at the very high speeds reached in competitions at the highest levels (Moto GP, SBK, etc). The internal cushions have removable and washable covers and are made of 3D laser cut shaped foam and are covered in KwikWick III (fresh, hypoallergenic, antimicrobial, rapid perspiration) while the multiple density EPS also perfectly follows the shapes of the head. EXO R1 Carbon Air is also equipped with the AIR FIT system which allows you to inflate and deflate the internal cushions for a better fit, thanks to the internal "KwikFit" profiling. The visor is equipped with an Ellip-Tec™ II mechanism and can be replaced easily and without the use of tools. It also has a central locking mechanism that allows for easy and safe closing and opening and offers a very wide vertical vision. It is also possible to leave (and stabilize) the visor in a slightly open position (especially useful when traveling at low speeds in the city) so as to let a small gust of air pass through. There are also supports for tear-off. The upper air intake (with tension spring that opens with a simple touch) is large but with a low profile. The closure is a "Double-D" ring in lightweight titanium and capable of guaranteeing the highest level of security. The weight is 1.200 g and is available in two colors: Black and Matt Black.
