Scorpion presented the new range of helmets a few weeks ago (that you will find here) and, on the occasion of EICMA 2018, we went to the brand's stand to discover some little secrets of the new range.

Let's start with the Exo R1 Air

“The road helmet is a Race helmet, it replaces the Exo 200 dedicated entirely to the track. It is a top of the range helmet that has an Air Fit system, i.e. the cheek pads that inflate by pressing the button under the chin guard, to make it fit like a tailor-made product. It is made of an ultra-light fiber, which has the ability to deform and absorbs shock.”

The Scorpion Belfast has a particular, street look

“It's a helmet dedicated to heritage, scrambler or harley riding. It is made of exposed carbon. Our symbol is missing and replaced with plates on the side. It is very light and is characterized by many features that make it extremely comfortable. The price is 299.90 euros.”

The third helmet is a modular one, the Scorpion Exo-Tech

“It has double approval, so it can be used both in the integral configuration and with the chin guard raised, furthermore the chin guard not only moves, but goes to the rear and is blocked by a magnetic system which does not make it move in the event of braking. It is a polycarbonate helmet, with cutting-edge features. It is positioned in a price range between 300 and 350 euros.”
