Electric scooter sharing: great success for MiMoto

The data also confirms the great success of Milan's first electric scooter sharing service: MiMoto is by far the fastest, most manageable, green and economical means of getting around the city.
eScooters are especially popular among young people: 60% are under 35 and use them not only to go to work, but also in their free time.

MiMoto eScooters have been designed taking into account the highest standards of usability and safety: they weigh only 70 kg, they are extremely easy to handle in traffic, easy to use and to put on the stand, they also have a limited speed of 45 km/h in compliance with the limits imposed by the highway code on city routes.

There are three driving modes based on your needs and capabilities: eco mode with speed limited to 30km/h, standard mode at 40km/h and power up to 45km/h.
MiMoto has a center of gravity designed so that the weight of the batteries does not influence driving, it has a tubular steel frame, front suspension with hydraulic telescopic fork and rear hydraulic shock absorber for a comfortable ride even on cobblestones.
The 190 mm hydraulic disc brake guarantees good stopping capacity, the 16" tires with 90 tread on the rear and 80 on the front ensure reliability and safety even on roadways with rails. The fluorescent helmets and the yellow color were chosen to ensure greater visibility on the road even at night.

Safe driving for MiMoto also means educating all eRiders to drive consciously: from these principles was born the idea of ​​the partnership with Floome, the Italian Startup which consists of an intelligent breathalyser that measures the blood alcohol level and estimates the time needed to dispose of it first to get behind the wheel.
After the first launch event at the Santeria Social Club on June 29th, throughout the summer MiMoto will be in various Milanese nightclubs, to let everyone try Floome.
