Scooter -Biomethane scooters arrive at Key Energy in Rimini, the exhibition dedicated to Energy and Sustainable Mobility, which will be held at Rimini Fiera from 3 to 6 November. We are talking about a project carried out by the state professional institute Leon Battista Alberti of Rimini which invented methane scooters in its laboratory.

Today the Institute is looking at perfecting biomethane engines, a fuel produced by the anaerobic fermentation of organic substances including waste from the food industry supply chain and kitchen waste. The new initiative, which will be presented at the Rimini show, was created in collaboration with the Italian Biogas Consortium, which for years has supported all possible uses of biomethane for transport and, like many entities in the bioenergy sector. On November 5th, the fair will also host a day of in-depth analysis dedicated to the issues of bioenergy for different uses. The meeting (9,30am - 18pm, Sala Neri 2 South Hall) will be entitled "Biogas, Biomethane and Compost towards the Paris 2015 conference".

The theme will be the importance of ecological management of organic resources and will be curated by Cts Ecomondo and Cts Key Energy, Compost Network (Cic and Cib) and promoted by Utilitalia, Fisa Assoambiente Confagricoltura, Itabia, Crpa, Ngv System, Assogasmetano, Free.
